Apenas no Ministério da Justiça, o Governo possui um data warehouse com mais de 1 bilhão de registros e a consulta está ficando cada vez mais complexa, até porque as informações estão sendo recolhidas de forma pouco estruturada, admitiu Rogério Bernardes Carneiro, do Ministério da Justiça, ao participar do Fórum Brasileiro de Segurança Pública “Gestão de Segurança – soluções integradas e inovações tecnológicas para segurança pública e privada”. Promovido pelo El País, com patrocínio da NEC, em São Paulo, no último dia 18 de março.

Segundo o executivo, o uso de ferramentas de TI se faz cada vez mais necessário para a atualização das informações. A contratação do big data deverá ser coordenada pelo Serpro e já deve mobilizar o mercado ao longo deste ano. “Precisamos ter sistemas mais refinados de buscas para trabalhar o dado de forma unificada”, disse o executivo. Hoje a maior parte das ferramentas utilizadas para análise de dados é de Business Intelligence. Mas é preciso mais para garantir a informação.
